A full tour around the historic district lasts 90 minutes, but most trolley companies offer an “on-off” ticket option that gives you privileges to exit the trolley at any of their pre-designated historic stops to tour or explore the area. Trolleys operate on a 15-20 minute pick-up schedule for each stop and will continue on the tour route to complete the full tour. Trolley companies also offer complimentary pick-up services that can be arranged at inns and hotels in the historic district and surrounding areas. You can also get on a trolley at the Savannah Visitors Center or various locations throughout the historic district.
