A Living Piece of American History
Few symbols are as instantly recognizable as the Budweiser Clydesdales. First introduced in 1933, the iconic hitch arrived when Americans were eager for signs of renewal and optimism. Over the decades, the Clydesdales have come to represent the determination, craftsmanship, and pioneering spirit that helped shape the nation. More than 90 years later, they remain one of the most beloved traditions in American culture.
For generations, the Clydesdales have captivated audiences with their strength, grace, and unmistakable presence. Whether they appear in parades, community celebrations, or special events, they continue to attract crowds wherever they go and remain one of the most recognizable symbols linked to Budweiser.
Celebrating 150 Years and Supporting a Great Cause
The Savannah appearance is part of a nationwide tour marking Budweiser’s 150th anniversary and supporting Folds of Honor. This organization is dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the families of America’s fallen and disabled service members and first responders.
With thousands of visitors expected along River Street throughout the celebration, the event is set to bring more energy to Savannah’s historic waterfront while showcasing one of America’s most enduring traditions.
